Anchoring a response in a rotating list

Q. I am randomizing a list but want the last option, "None," to remain at the bottom of the list.

A. When rotating the responses in a list, you have the option of anchoring a response to its original position. To do this:

• Load the question in which you are randomizing the list.
  

• Make sure that the answer option you want to remain stationary is in correct place in the list. 

In other words if you are randomizing a list and the last option is "None" and you would like the none to stay anchored at the bottom of the list, make sure that the "None" option is the last item in the list.  

• Click on the Set Answer Options menu item.
  

• Select Format Answer Options.
  
• On the Answer Option table, the first column in the table is labeled "Options." Find the label to anchor and click the iQ button.
  
• From the option window, select Anchor Label and click Save.
  
• Click Save on the Format Answer Options window and then make sure to Save your question.

  The label that you enabled the "Anchor" for will now stay stationary as the other labels rotate.
