Code Verbatims

Q. I was looking at the verbatim (open-end) run. How can I print the password next to each verbatim? I want to code the verbatims, but when I print them out, there doesn't seem to be a way to match the verbatim to a record (complete).

A. The verbatim reports only list the responses and does not attribute them to individuals. To accomplish this procedure, download the data and open it in Excel. In the data file, each row contains all the respondents answers, including the verbatim responses and password.

To download the data file:

1. Click Results from the Main menu.
2. Select Download Data.
3. Accept the default options and click Save.
4. When prompted, Save the file to your local drive.
5. Open the file with Excel. The Excel Import Wizard runs. Accept all defaults.
